Brandon, MB. -- With Training Camp set to get underway in just over two weeks, the Brandon Wheat Kings 2012 Season Ticket Campaign is heating up.
On Tuesday morning, the hockey club announced that for the eleventh straight season, all 2012-13 Season Ticket Holders will receive a special Wheat Kings' VIP Rewards Card that will be good for special savings and discounts at selected businesses throughout the city.
Participating VIP Card Sponsors this season include Humptys, Wendys Restaurant, Applebees, Great Canadian oil Change, Ruckers, River City Cigar, The Wok Box, Grower Direct, Kim's Restaurant, Domino's Pizza and Fabutan.

As of this week, the Wheat Kings have sold 2,000 Season Tickets for the upcoming season, which leaves them two hundred shy of what was sold last year at this time.
The Wheat Kings wound up selling over 2,900 season tickets in 2011-12 and averaged more than 4,100 fans per home game.
