Brandon, MB. -- The Brandon Wheat Kings, in association with Apex Facility Services are pleased to unveil a new program designed to promote good Sportsmanship in minor hockey throughout western Manitoba.

The Apex Clean Team of the Month program has been developed to reward western Manitoba minor hockey teams that display outstanding respect, both on and off the ice.

Each month, a team will be selected and will be invited to attend a Wheat Kings' home game - courtesy of Apex Facility Services of Brandon.

To be considered for this monthly award, teams must be nominated by no later than 12 noon on the final day of each month, including Wednesday, October 31st.

Entries must be submitted via email to rickdillabough@wheatkings.com and all entries should include a brief reason as to why their team should be considered for this award.

The Wheat Kings and Apex Facility Services believe in being proactive in ensuring minor hockey in western Manitoba is safe for all participants. This new program has been introduced in order to help us promote those values to minor hockey teams of all ages.
